Thing #26

This thing with the widgets did not work well with me. I could change color but I could not make it work at all. I didn't like widgets before either, so to me they are not worth using.

Thing #25

Well, here I am again. I did the newsletter (Pop). It seemed easy enough. And yes, I would probably use this a lot more. If you were making your own website this would be a great tool to use.

Thing 24

I had looked at the inversion before and hoped it would not be too complicated for some of our patrons.
For others it will be wonderful and very helpful.

Thing #23

Well, I finally have come to the end. It has been quite a journey. I have looked at everything I was suppose too. These as a whole were my favorite discoveries. Many things either didn't work or scared me into deleting what I had done. Horror stories of viruses etc. have caused me to delete many things and write a little about them instead. For the most part I have chosen to do this at home. I have asked for and received help from co-workers and family. Now, that I am finished, I hope to go back and see if I can rearrange my items better or add a little more here and there. I suppose with this last statement I have shown you all how this program has affected me. I have asked to have people share with all of us their favorite websites. Now, that we know they are out there now we need access to them. The surprise is how many people seem to want to have there own fifteen minutes of fame even if it is on the net. To gear it to all library staff including librarian assistance and clerks. This was geared mostly toward librarians. Also participation should not be so mandatory that this is all we think about. Programs should be a sharing of ideas. This was more like mandatory homework. Which takes all the real fun out of playing around with blogging. One must remember that a blog may not contain accurate information. Thanks for letting me try it. I will use it again in a more personal way.

Thing #22

When YPL first got E-books I created an account and actually took out a book. I did not like using a computer to read a book, so I returned it rather quickly. I still do not like to us somekind of mechanical device to read a book unless it is a disc in a car. So this one is not for me.

Thing #21

This was quite a lesson. I went into podcast.com and there I looked up the subject of Mystery-Murder. Listened to a radio broadcast from Dec. 2006 which featured Vincent Price. At first my reaction was why do this, but as I listened I realized that this would be a very useful tool for writers in making a space for themselves and their following. Two thumbs up. Terrific!! Wonderful!

Thing #19

As you can tell I did post from you tube. I got there through a back door. I just kept clicking on things until I arrived at You Tube. I did not like the way it plays. Seems to stop a lot. In recent years this has become one of my most favorite groups and songs.

Thing 3

Someone just mentioned to me that upon checking the blogs Things #2 was not mentioned in a lot of our blogs. Mine is included. Whether I get the m3p player or not is now immaterial. #2 Thing will not be included because I took it as my own personal accomplishments. It has names and things that I put on my own computer desk top, but do not wish to share with all of you in my blog.

Thing #18

Well, I tried and tried to do this, but was unable to publish it. Sorry. The next day I tried again. I could send it to my e-mail address and then was able to post it, however, then you all could see my e-mail and that was not acceptable. This should not have been this difficult.
